Description

PRE-REQUISITES: You must have completed our Fundamental Modules (Fundamentals, Swing Out and Charleston), or equivalent. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable class for everyone, you should feel comfortable:

  • Social dancing 8-count and 6-count basic Lindy Hop (e.g. lindy circle, send out, tuck turn, swing outs).
  • Social dancing fundamental Charleston (e.g. basic, skip-ups, kick-away, hand-to-hand, send out, tuck turn).

If you’re unsure whether this course is right for you feel free to contact us, we’re happy to help!

This module explores classic Lindy Hop movements popularised by Frankie Manning, one of the most influential dancers in the history of the dance. His approach shaped the way Lindy Hop is danced socially, emphasising rhythm, playfulness, and connection to the music.

Over four weeks, you’ll learn a selection of Frankie’s signature moves. These movements are simple, versatile, and full of possibilities, giving you space to explore musicality and personal expression.

This module is ideal for dancers who want to expand their vocabulary, feel more relaxed on the social dancefloor, and build confidence using classic Lindy Hop material in a natural and creative way.
