Description

What is Swing Dancing? It’s a collection of dances from the 1920s-1940s including Lindy hop and Charleston.

Class
Level 1 - Absolute beginners class | 7pm - 8pm

A drop in beginners class — anyone can attend any time. No partner required. We cover all the basics from scratch (20s Charleston, 30s Charleston, 6 and 8 count Lindy Hop).

Level 2 - Intermediate class | 8.15pm - 9.15pm

A class for improver dancers who are wanting to move on from the basics and learn more about musicality, lead/follow technique, rhythm, etc… If you have some experience of 6 and 8 count Lindy Hop and some Charleston then you should definitely think about jumping in.

The Venue

Our class takes place in the St. Aloysius church hall and there are steps down to the hall.
