Join Anna and Ochryn for a lesson or two in Swing Dancing in Vauxhall. What is Swing Dancing? It’s a collection of dances from the 1920s-1940s including Lindy hop and Charleston.

Classes are drop in and you can pay in advance from 11am on the day of class.

Classes

Level 1 – Absolute beginners class | 7pm – 8pm

Level 1 is a fun and friendly class for total beginners. Meet new people, have lots of fun and learn how to dance to awesome jazz music!

Level 2 – Improvers class | 8.10pm – 9.10pm

Performance Ball Routine 22nd, 29th Sept and 6th October 2025

You have learned some basic moves, but seek a deeper understanding of style and technique. This class will improve your fundamentals in swing.

Level 3 – Advanced class | 9.20pm – 10.20pm

Performance Ball Routine 22nd, 29th Sept and 6th October 2025

Work on more advanced techniques, rhythms and moves, and explore ways you can be more creative with your dancing.

The Venue

Our class takes place in St. Anne and All Saints church hall - there are steps to access the hall.
