Description

Every year The Dance Studio Leeds puts on a show in a theatre and invites anyone who runs classes to perform (that's us!). So if you want to set yourself a goal and have a drive to practice, sign up for this course. We'll teach you a choreography over 6 weeks and then perform on the 21st Nov (Matinee + Evening). It's a good opportunity to work on some different skills such as precision and performance techniques.

For the last three years we've brought a solo charleston routine, this year we'll also be bringing a Lindy Hop routine. Note; you do not have to perform on stage to take the course.

Reasons to take this course:

To perform on stage

To challenge yourself in a different way

To give yourself motivation to practice

To make close friends and find people excited to work on their dancing together.

Despite the pressure of performing on stage, this is about as relaxed a performance as you can get. It's a show entirely made up of dances, everyone involved will be excited to see all the different styles, you get to perform twice (matinee + evening).
