Introductory level Balboa classes focusing on core concepts and moves in a friendly, relaxed weekly class. We have regular start points throughout the year where we begin teaching from scratch. Dancers with some previous experience are welcome to drop-in.

We teach introductory-level Balboa and have regular advertised start points throughout the year, where new dancers can join the class from scratch. If you don’t start the classes at one of these points, you will need to know the basic uphold and downhold step, as well as core moves such as out-and-ins, paddles, scoots, the come around and the throw out.
