Description

GSX is organised by representatives of Glasgow Jitterbugs, Glasgow Swing Dance, and Glasgow Lindyhoppers.

The concept of the event is a DYNAMIC DANCE FLOOR, incorporating ALL genres of swing music with a variety of tempos to suit an array of swing dance styles, namely Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, Balboa, St Louis Shag, Charleston, and Solo Jazz (ie jazz Roots).

Not only do we strive to showcase the best live music for swing dancers, but we also hold the event in a variety of historic and/or unique venues across Glasgow, creating a truly exciting and culturally-rich dance event for swing dancers of all levels.

This year we have added a historical tour of the oldest surviving music hall in the world!
