In our first class, we examine the minutiae of the technique surrounding the most iconic Lindy Hop move: the Swing Out, followed by some cool and flashy styling for your Swing Outs in the second class including those iconic swivels!

Description

Down the Swing Out Rabbit Hole (11am-1pm)

Potentially one of the most important classes you will ever take in Lindy Hop. We get into the nitty gritty of the technique behind the most iconic Lindy move, which will not only improve your swing outs, but all of your Lindy Hop. In order to attend this class, you should have had at least one beginner/fundamental level class covering a basic 8-count Swing Out/Lindy Turn. We can't stress enough that this class is for EVERYONE who has had at least one swing out class, whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer or even a Lindy teacher.

1-2pm Lunch break

Swivelicious (2-4pm)

We'll be looking at styling up your swing outs with cool variations and, of course, swivels! If you have never done Down the Swing Out Rabbit Hole, you will need that first in order to attend Swivelicious. Even if you have done Down the Rabbit Hole previously, we'd recommend attending again as it's a good reminder of the techniques we'll be using, especially in relation to the specific type of swing out we'll be focusing on.
