Description

Lindy hop is a partnered jazz dance originating in African American communities in 1920s New York. In this course we will teach you not only the basic moves but also some of the history and culture associated with this expressive dance.

All participants will learn both roles (leading and following). This is a great way to learn the dance and also removes any expectations around outdated gender roles.

Venue : Easton Community Centre, Kilburn Street, BS5 6AW

Time: 2-6pm Saturday and 2-6pm Sunday

Price: £50 for the whole 2-day course

Cancellation Policy: We are able to offer refunds for cancellations made at least 14 days before the event (minus DanceCloud processing fee). If you need to cancel less than 14 days before the event you are welcome to sell or pass on your ticket.
